MyValleySun.com requires $60,000 annually to be a sustainable media outlet capable of reporting on hard news and events in the Monashee. We’re locally owned and operated and we are very involved within the community. Supporting a small market community-based online news venue is a challenge, but as we move into our second year of production we pretty much know where the financial support might come from.
You can support us by individual donations, purchasing advertising or purchasing from our online store we call our BullMarket. For your convenience we have set up a PayPal platform so that we can offer you credit card options which makes it easier to offer your support.
Please browse the BullMarket for our special offers, and if you would like to learn more about why it’s important to support My Valley Sun please click here. MyValleySun.com is produced from the Wildcraft Forest a long time arts incubator located on Highway 6 between Lumby and Cherryville.

A store that supports community-based media
World-wide, news venues are changing; they have become corporate and centralized. Community-based media is fighting back, and there are innovative efforts to raise the funds required so that real local news can be reported. At MyValleysun.com we know that many of our readers may be reluctant to make a financial contribution to support something that might seem to be intangible. That’s why we started the BullMarket which offers you a chance to purchase some of the other products we produce from the Wildcraft Forest.
If you purchase art, craft and our wild tea blends all made right here in the Monashee, you will help us produce MyValleySun.com
